I'm really happy for the guys at Thq. They have published some great games and I wouldn't like to see any of them lose their jobs for what has been an unfortunate series of events for them.

So my $10 (£6.23) really helped :P

They have indeed and it would be a shame. 8)

I think the issue with THQ is with the notable exception of saints row and dawn of war, they either publish awful tie in games or games that for some reason or other just miss the mark. I loved metro, red faction and homefront wasn't too bad. It just seems they take risks that for some reason don't pay off for them, which is a real shame!

It's a noble idea that deserves a lot of support(and even though I already have all these games, I may still contribute to it). Shame though the average given is less than $1 per game, shows you that even when it's for a good cause, most PC gamers will still want something for nothing... :|

while i do agree that THQ have made some great games in the past such as Darksiders the Red Faction Series they still have been involved with alot of crap in the past years it just seems convenient that they decide to do this just as they are on the verge of losing it all i aint saying that it is the reason why they have done it by any means but it just seems a little weird to me it would be a shame to see them go but at the same time i think they have delivered what they can to the gaming community already and if this is a ploy to buy sympathy to there current financial troubles its just not cool but hopefully they are taking the moral high ground and doing this simply for the cause without an undertone
