I got my Vita the other day, updated it and then packed it away again until Christmas for myself. That way i'll have something to look forward to and will be genuinely excited on Chrimbo day for the first time in years! :)

I'm confused. Don't you need a PS3 for the PS Plus subscription?
But if you have a PS3, you probably already have PS Plus :|

Sounds like a badly thought out deal to me. Like the idea of a big capacity memory card being bundled instead!

A 4GB card.
A downloadable copy of Unit 13, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Mutant Space Blobs, Chronovolt and the upcoming Mortal Kombat.
That's roughly 8-9GB.
Sony really are evil geniuses.

Nope. You can activate/download everything straight to the Vita.

People can just download the games and store them on a pc or PS3, then transfer when they want to play them.

Sony have really raised the bar with PS Plus, they need to get there arses in gear and start advertising it as a service to the general public, us gamers know what a good deal it is but the average shopper looking for purchases, gifts etc need to know about it. They are poor at promotion in th UK.

HMV have the Assassin's Creed bundle with 4gb card for £199 however SCEE sent an email to Inside Vita subscribers offering an additional 8gb card for free when purchased at HMV between now and Christmas eve... This and the release of PS Plus on Vita (which I already subscribe to on PS3) has tipped me over the edge and i'm off to get myself an early Christmas present.
