Nintendo president apologises for Wii U launch issues

Postby JOFF » 29 Nov 2012, 12:38

Took me an hour this morning to download and update. After that every app each needed another update before i could use them. Apart from that it's all good, especially the new eshop, BIG improvement :D

Really shabby this is. I can understand patches to games a few months old, but not day 1 games and certainly not day 1 console releases

Poor. Really poor. You are buying an unfinished console.

Great.

That a fact is it? Mine must be broke then, I put it on earlier and played a game but didn't have 1 update, let alone 10.

Oh do leave oooorrrrrrrrfffffff,stealth!
Don't matter if he apologogised (note the correct spelling of apologise with an 's' please. Just like there is no such word as 'thru'. Spelt correctly it is 'through.')
But I digress.
They have had plenty of time to sort this aaaaaaaht, (please note the correct spelling of the word 'out.')
No excuse.

That's your fault for not using the console or the games in ages then. If you had then the updates would be spread out more.
Here's a lockpick, now jog on.

I dont use it for a month and I have to sit and wait for 2 hours? When the ps3 launched there was an update but people forget that of course.

This is the era we live in now, constant updates

That really annoyed me with ps3 but then I set it to auto update or sumsuch and now every time I fire it up it tells me what has been updated and then away I go!

Having said that, I don't probably use it as much as most on here.
And that's all I've got to say about that.
Really.

And from tomorrow you'll use it even less. What with having your new plaything with ZombiU, Mario and Sonic Allstars Racing.

I know you only said two of them but you should seriously think about the other. Because I said so, innit.
Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to stay on my toes.
