Gearbox explains lack of Borderlands on Wii U

Postby fatherofthenoo » 26 Nov 2012, 23:26

I think that that is a very fair comment from Gearbox. Wii U is clearly a tool. If you don't see a way to take advantage of it, then don't use it.
Now playing - Trine 2 Director's Cut, Dino Crisis 2, Devil May Cry, The Cave

Definitely.

Just to let you know, the Sony/MS fanbois will be along in a minute with their own assumptions.

Did someone call my name!?! Sony fanboy right here...or in the realm of reality...an owner of a Ps3.

Hell I want a Wii U just for the Colonial Marines motion sensor. f**k and yes are words to that extent. Mmmmmm

Mini-Map/HUD/Menus on the gamepad aren't good enough I suppose.

How very reasonable of you.

Alternatively: "You're clearly a tool!"

It's a problem i fear the Wii U will suffer from on a number of occasions. If it does become a success and get a large user-base then i'm sure the games will come, but until then it may still lose out on some titles simply because it doesn't have enough about it to make people want to buy that version over the 360/ps3 versions. So ultimately it could just end up a waste of the developer's resources. But the signs are good for third party games, so if it does sell well i'm sure it could see borderlands 3 some day.
