all three versions are still available on game stop and HMV's euro websites with 4 days left before launch. so its not exactly flying of shelves here.

Unfortunately it seems more and more likely that the Wii u's success will be short lived. I still have my pre order but I am doubting whether I will actually go through with the purchase after hearing all the bad press. Bad frame rates, poor battery in tablet, bricking console....think I'll wait a while longer and see how things pan out. Theres no Zelda game due for a while anyway ^^.

what would give you that idea? Nothing suggests that

Bad press? You mean small pockets of people who cant even get the right information?

Great frame rates for 99 percent of games. An amazing battery life considering ITS NOT A TABLET.

A bricking console if you turn it off mid update which happenes to every system.

That doesn't really mean a thing, especially when it's HMV. I know the staff at my local HMV and they take pre-orders for items that aint gonna be in stock all the time.

Pretty much what I was about to say. :p

Would add that there is more space in the battery compartment for the gamepad for a larger battery at a later point. Current one only takes up about half the available space.

If you actually click on the wii u consoles on HMV, you get this message:
"Pre-order update! We have been informed by Nintendo that delivery of the wii u consoles will be between 30th November and 15th December Customers that ordered the White or Zombie U packages will receive their orders between 30th of November and 15th of December. Your pre-orders are safe and we will keep you informed of the stock situation with Nintendo"

Yo Stealth can you confirm, as I am sure you will, that these stories are totally untrue, unfounded and made-up lies?

I saw one on Saturday running, Rayman looked ace, not sure about the god-awful controller with it's gimmicks but Im sure it's all good as a kids console?

3 hour battery life in controller...

ME3 bad frame rate reported by most websites

Batman...poor texture load times

Ninja Gaiden 3 textures like early xbox360 days

Fragile controller reported by a few that nintendo refuse to fix ("My controller fell about 2" from the docking station and stopped working. Nintendo said I would have to send it in for repair at the cost of $95")

Not exactly favorable is it?

"3 hour battery life in controller..."

5 hours is pretty fantastic, about on par with what I get with anything else these days

"ME3 bad frame rate reported by most websites"

As stated by bioware there engine isnt optimized for the high intensity gpu.

"Batman...poor texture load times"

False, I have both versions ie ps3 and wii u, wii u destroys it

"Ninja Gaiden 3 textures like early xbox360 days"

Ninja gaiden looks far superior on wii u than any version

"Fragile controller reported by a few that nintendo refuse to fix ("My controller fell about 2" from the docking station and stopped working. Nintendo said I would have to send it in for repair at the cost of $95")"

Please, nobody is saying that, nor is it fragile. I actually dropped mine

Get one, then respond to me\

I still never understand why it has to be a kids console. A lot of the games may be cartoony, and they're not 'gritty', but they're as usually as deep and valid as an 18 rated game.

I think only the most hard dieing of Nintendo die hards could say the launch hasn't been a bit of a balls up and they aren't a bit disappointed with the power, although maybe once devs get used to it it will shine, a la PS3.

And why bother winding him up? It just f**ks up the comments sections. Again.
Future Plc, you bloody idiots.

Only on the internet can a positive sales article devolve into senseless trolling. At least keep it in the appropriate article. If the comment isnt about the sales, its A) off topic B) trolling
