Even after Googling Sega Blog all I can find is a blog post detailing sales details in the US. What offers are we getting in the UK or is this just another useless US focused post on a UK site.

Its posted as "By Mike Jackson for CVG UK" so I assume this is for the UK.

Hello,

Apologies for the confusion in the original story. I have updated it to include all details.

As always, feel free to PM or email me if there is something that you feel needs immediately correcting.

Thanks

Turkeys do.
Some say he's half man, half fish. Others say its more of a 70/30 split. Whatever the percentage, he's one fishy bastard.

@C&VG I have the CVGUK option set not the CVGInternation, can you please filter out pointless US offers on the UK feed of your site. Offers like this along with the frequently posted US PSN store updates are of little use to UK users. It would be a lot more helpful if as a UK based site you actually focused on UK news. You post US PSN store updates and offers more frequently than you post UK store updates and offers.

We don't do Black Friday either but a number of UK stores are running Black Friday offers so just because we don't have Thanksgiving here doesn't mean the offers shouldn't be available to us.

Ugh

I find Sega so sad now. a shadow of its former self, reliving old glories, stuck in the past

Its like an old man sitting in a chair with a blanket on talking about the war incessantly

I want news relevant to the area I select.

US news on the UK news feed is stupid.

US offers if available outside the UK I want on the UK feed but as these offers are on the US store only I dont care. If these were Black Friday offers in on the US Store I dont want to see them, if Black Friday offers or on the UK store I want to see them.

Put the posts in the international feed but not the UK feed...

Admittedly Sega is a smaller player nowadays, compared to its most successful years. They've lost the hardware business and many key employees like Suzuki, Naka and Mizuguchi. But as a publisher, they've got exciting new games coming up like Aliens Colonial Marines and Total War Rome 2. They've also embraced the new digital platforms and have a pretty good App Store presence. Their back catalogue is one of the strongest in the industry, so by all means they should be taking advantage of it. The movie industry has its classics rereleased on Blu-Ray, so I see the games industry acknowledging and cherishing its past as a positive.

US news is OK as long as it is relevant to the UK. it would be silly if the UK feed only gave news about UK projects, but I totally agree about offers and things only relevant to the US.
