Totally agree, I'd love to play Dead Space iOS on the Vita for example, that would be awesome. Also Doom GLES!
I bought Alien Breed the other day and it's been great, more indie games please!
Minis were kind of the PSPs version of PSM, and there were a lot of pretty good minis, I hope PSM gets even more love,
is this really what the vita needs? a bunch of 99p (or free) ios game ports sold for £5-£10 on the ps store with most probably barely scratching the surface of the vitas power.
It doesn't need
them, but if they can add all this on top of the AAA titles that are going to the system regardless then it will be a force to be reckoned with. the Vita is already a great piece of kit, and it deserves to succeed, and the more features and "stuff" it has, the more likely it is to do well.
A lot of the nay sayers of Vita complain that there are no games: Having a big indie store would counteract that.
A lot of indie developers complain about the lack of hardware controls on phones and tablets limiting game design: The Vita has a full 5in touch screen AND hardware controls and rear-touch too!
really the vita is the best of both worlds, for indie and AAA developers, and if you've seen dead space iOS, you'd know it's not some crappy iOS game, it's a full 3D survival horror game, with those virtual twin sticks that make it horrible to play.
