Hitman Absolution's online pass scrapped

I don't think ill of the online pass system as a whole (a necessary evil, really) but it's nice from Square Enix nonetheless.

I was confused when the game directed me to the store to input my code, just for there to be a free download waiting in the DLC items. Bravo to SE though, they are really starting to get things together as a company again!

good to see a company reward gamers rather then punish them with ridiculous online passes now if only more companys could do the same

Great move from SE to ditch the online pass, and hopefully will mean more sales for the game.

Can't see EA, Activision or Capcom ditching the online pass though, as all they see is the $$$$$$$ and the chance to scew over gamers any chance they get.

THQ are not much better either.

I wish Ubisoft and EA would do the same.
EA Sports: It's in the game(for a price).

How exactly? In new copies the online pass is included. Wouldn't this lead to more second hand sales?
Some say he's half man, half fish. Others say its more of a 70/30 split. Whatever the percentage, he's one fishy bastard.

A wise move methinks, the game is not big enough to warrant one. Online passes are fine by me, 2nd hand buyers need to suck it up.

Aw bless, such a whitty retort.

I just remembered, you're one of the bell-ends that thinks buying second-hand games is equal to stealing. Figures you'd defend online passes

I agree with an extent to online passes. If you get a game without paying the developer anything then what right do you have to demand use of a service that costs them money to run? If you choose to save money and buy second hand then you cant complain about having to pay a small amount to use online services.

You're not worth the effort kid, your bottom feeding antics on here are beyond tiresome, oh look there's an opportunity to be a smart ass.... off you go. It's called an opinion and if you don't like it at least 'appear' to be constructive instead of delving into your no doubt well arranged pictures folder to play the next trump card. In fact while your rummaging around in your ass find me any evidence whatsoever that I have ever claimed 2nd hand is stealing...... you'll be there a long time.
