Weird to see the words Super Mario and DLC in the same sentence.

I blame consumers more for dlc than the companies. If people didnt buy it, companies wouldnt make it

I agree with you to an extent.

I'm still not a big fan of day one dlc but extra content further down the line like, "Harley's Revenge & the recent Portal 2 dlc" seem fine by me. I use to be dead set against everything but started looking into it. Now i understand more I'm not as aggressive with my posting and opinions on the subject.

I hate dlc. I am too old school.

I think I bought dlc 1 time, this entire gen. Hated how I felt. Now I never buy it.

Classic courses with a new twist, anyone? I'd love Super Mario World levels thrown in, perhaps stretched out a little with some new obstacles in the mix.

Id prefer they leave the old levels to the annals of time

I am all for DLC as long as it's developed after the game and actually extends it. The best example I can think of is the recent Dark Souls dlc. That is dlc done right.
Now playing - Trine 2 Director's Cut, Dino Crisis 2, Devil May Cry, The Cave

why not just have dlc free for your fans who purchase the game in the first place, i know devs need to make money but dlc really irks me

See i totally agree with that, They should have kept the name "Expansion Packs" instead of "DLC" in my opinion, things like the episodes of liberty and the fallout expansions which i'm a big fan of can be mostly longer than entire COD Campaigns each, the free and or small stuff should have been called DLC and the bigger ones you can buy should be called expansion packs, it would make things alot more understandable and you'd know your getting your moneys worth that way, i absolutely love the fact devs can update their games and make them bigger and even better but i also hate the fact they can and often take advantage of it, But yeah, it is weird seeing mario and dlc together, i recon nintendo could do really well with dlc in general though, i feel nintendo are pretty decent with their customers with content, theres always been good stuff on the 3ds e-shop and i've already had a free game and a few other things from them.
