Mass Effect 4 producer asks what you want to see in it?

Postby RTY1998 » 08 Nov 2012, 22:53

I would like there to be 20 more awesome than in the whole of the original trilogy combined. Or maybe a disappointing prequel trilogy that arrives 16 later and stars Ewan McGregor.

How about a game that represents the originality and depth of the first one rather than the shallow commercialism of the last? Hmmm... with EA involved? Can't see that happening.

I'm not even sure they could try to make it decent. Watching the conversations and the cinematics on YouTube was more fun than dredging through gameplay of Mass Effect 2 and 3. How the third game got away with so much praise with how poor the rushed gameplay was is beyond me. I'd be happy enough if they made a competent game in between the dramatic moments and choices that actually felt like a role playing game rather than a few rpg elements tacked onto an average biotic shooter. After all the praise the disappointing sequels got I doubt they'll bother trying to please those happier with the first game.

An alien race where the females have 3 bouncing boobies.

Also decision making during cut scenes would be cool.

Perhaps more exploration compared to all the shooting.!

I don't want to see anything in it. Just an empty void of nothingness until the credits roll.

In all seriousness, they've got a difficult job with Mass Effect 4; I mean, you can't really get a more serious ultimatum than the end of all organic life. I don't really see how they can make it any more 'epic'? So the only safe route (in my opinion) is to tighten the scale, go down the minutae of society and tell a more personal story.

That's my two cents!

Couldn't agree more

The soul of the first one was lost in 2 & 3 imo

I think anything can top Mass Effect 3's awful ending.

Just make it with ME3's ending strategy. Let the owners speculate the entire game's contents, sell a blank disk, and ask them to buy more at the end. If they question it - "artistic integrity" is thine shield!
