The marketing campaigns don't change much either over the years for R*. Possibly got one of the best teams for marketing in the industry in my opinion.

Few screenshots, release a trailer, few screenshots, release a trailer - start preorder process, kickstart website, screenshots, trailer xD

Rockstar are in a superb position whereby they can market a game without showing any in-game footage at all, just trailers containing cutscenes. Such is the power of the GTA franchise.

Yepper, rarely any other franchise in this day that can hold such mastery tbh, possibly Halo - but they dont use that tactic, just prefer to bombard the media instead xD

Reminds me a little of the redneck in Vice City Stories

really looking forward to this, but rockstar gotta make up for the huge dissapointment of IV for me.

i got it, and loved it for a few days, before looking deeper. the draw distance and backgrounds are terrible even compared to the ps2 titles. go on a skyscraper with a sniper rifle in san andreas then again in IV and you'll see what i'm talking about. it ruined alot of weapons, most especially long distance ones. also accounts for the terrible amount of pop-up / texture loading in IV compared to earlier ones.

i also didn't enjoy the story or relate to the nico anywhere near as much as CJ.

so, looking forward to it from what i've seen, but sincerely hoping they've upped the technical side of things somewhat.

If there is the slightest possibility that quad bikes will feature in GTA V then please R* don't let them handle like a trifle laden chainsaw.
Childhood pictures redeem, clean and so serene
See myself without ruining lines
Whole days throwing sticks into streams

I have crawled so far sideways
I recognise dim traces of creation
