Assassin's Creed 3 review Q&A: What do you want to know?

Postby Gambini » 29 Oct 2012, 17:02

I hate when Publishers don't allow reviews until the day of launch...

But, what I really want to know is if the "Desmond" parts of the game are as tedious and unnecessary as the previous games? Do they break the immersion?

Has the combat been improved? Is it more fluid? Are there more "moves"?

It's needed improving since Arkham Asylum was released for me.

Also can you turn off the ! floating over enemies heads?

Have they removed that one hit kill combo thing from brotherhood?

Is it good enough to win back the fans of the series that felt Revelations was a lazy cash in.

And can you build snowmen, the snowy sections look great so it'll be a nice bonus if you can. Maybe even play walking in the air as you do it.

This could be slight spoilers but is there a lot of modern day gameplay, compared to the others at least.
Here's a lockpick, now jog on.

Do they actually wrap up the story or do they leave it on a cliffhanger for the inevitable follow up game?

Is Connor an intresting character? As intresting as Ezio?

Are we going to be subjected to more horrid animus platform challenges?

Never heard of it but would you say gravy is a fair accompniment to fish, chips and mushy peas? Also do you take your ale straight or diluted with lemonade?

How does the new character compare to Ezio and Altair?

Have they tried to do much and does the Game lose focus because of it?

I'd go for gravy on the chips and mushy peas but couldn't have it on the fish. It'll get soggy and lose it's fishy goodness.

How do you think Norwich, Notts Forest and Hull are going to get on this weekend? Do you fancy helping Doug with RDR?

I always have a chips, fish and mushy peas with curry and a nice shandy is always better in the summer.

Regarding the game, is there anything really assassiny(?) about AC3 or is it all action?

If you're ever in Redditch budge then I suggest you find the place that does a madras fish. It's lush.
