Origin on Wii U not likely soon, EA exec suggests

Asked whether the full Origin experience will become available on Nintendo's Wii U system, Moore told CVG: "We haven't made any announcements on that".

You can get that experience by hopping in the bath with your console plugged into the wall.

Origin on Wii U not likely soon, EA exec suggests

Postby RoOhDiNi » 26 Oct 2012, 10:20

I never quite understood the purpose of having it on consoles, where you allready got your eshops, friendlists, achievements, updates and patches, and monthly Xbox-Live fee for online services.
Origin is simply not necessary on consoles - additional baggage really.

It's additional baggage wherever I think.
No need to be careful what you wish for, you probably won't get it.

As everyone else is saying it just seems like extra baggage that you don't need or want. I'd rather have an arrow in the knee than use origin.

They can't nick any real info from consoles, not like all that lovely marketing data they can get from smartphones, tablets and pcs.
I jumped, O my brothers, and I fell hard but I did not snuff it, oh no. if I had snuffed it, I would not be here to tell what I have told.

Ask billybastard if he feels the same way? He declined Origin on his PS3 and 360 and they took his information anyway. When he complained they had a complete history of his gaming habits and he had to get some european privacy law invoked.
