IE was better than I expected and with SmartGlass (acts as a touch-pad), is definitely the best console web browsing experience out there. The ability to pin stuff is also a cool feature. All in all, a good update.

I have been on the beta for weeks now, it is a really god update, Explorer surprisingly good. I do expect the normal bad mouthing to start as well about the dashboard, some people just cant be made happy! :)

@windowlicker - Alot of people have been using this for a month or two now as beta testers. So thats why some may have it.

Personally I tried IE and havnt used it since. But thats just because I prefer checking the Internet from my phone or laptop. New features wasnt as exciting as I perhaps hoped so don't all get your hopes up of something radical. Not knocking it though I still prefer using it to PSN.

I'm worried that "more tiles" just means more advertising. There isn't really anything else they need to put on there.

I barely noticed them in this update. The only ones I do notice, are the recommended games/films/albums, which are on 2 small tiles in their relevant sections. The games recommendation was helpful in one case, where I went on and bought the game.

Was on the beta test, is a decent improvement over the last dash. moved things about, and made things all in all just that bit more organised. although instead of games marketplace, its now titles "buy games" which is stupid as you dont buy a demo. I think it wouldve been better staying as it was. few niggles, like id prefer to be able to swap the analogue controls on IE and customise what the buttons do as I'd prefer something different to the layout they assigned. Either way, its a step in the right direction. I just wish they would enable voice pause and play on my movies I stream through the network rather than just on video apps. and I cant pin the system video player to the pins which annoys the feck out of me.

This is what I thought, otherwise making youtube gold only would be pointless. Dont have the time I used to for games and me paying to use IE is not going to happen.

Since the update my XBox froze twice inside 5 minutes.

Also I cannot find the sales & specials section anymore.

So all in all, I am not impressed at the moment.
