grrrr I won't be fooled again

Elite was advertised as a saving on DLC and Activision reduced the price on map packs a long ways before anyone's Elite subscription would have expired if they bought in at launch. I'm still not sure how they got away with it...

I agree. Still feeling stupid for paying for Elite last time around as the Spec Ops missions are not worth it to me as I do not play that game mode so a lot of wasted cash.

DLC subscriptions make about as much sense to me as pre-purchasing a new album from an artist that hasn't even started recording it yet. Its no surprise people say they got burned by Elite. They can stick their season pass where the sun doesn't shine.

Scotland?

I agree with this sentiment though. It doesn't 'save' you money if it's carp

I hate to be negative but this is Activision we are talking about, even if they did separate them the price would probably stay the same.

Merely £5 off the standard edition?

Yeah that's a pretty big asking price for content that hasn't even been revealed yet.
EA Sports: It's in the game(for a price).

If it's like the last two CoD's then expect the DLC maps to be better than the on-disc maps.

It's like a reverse raffle, it's a nice little angle Activision have worked out. Drop 40 notes on the main game for the chance to drop 35 notes on better content.

I blame KK

Thank god I have decided not to buy COD this year.

No new COD will ever beat COD4. Best of the lot by a mile.

The series is now just soooooo boring and the DLC/Elite is a rip-off.

Hey! I can see the sky through the clouds in Glasgow today! Granted it doesn't happen that often, but today Scotland wins! In your face UK!!!

Please don't think I'm mocking, Scotland is great. Soon, when the national obesity levels rise high enough and the country slowly sinks, england will rise and we won't get so much flooding.

It's quite sunny here, bit nippy mind. Oh, and down with season passes! I assume this is just another version of elite? For something so amazing it didn't last that long.
