Relax! UK cultural tax breaks isn't all bowler hats and red

Postby EvilWaterman » 05 Oct 2012, 17:35

Can I have a tax break? I'm British and I have a bowler hat with a Great Britian flag on the top. (I actually do have that hat)

I'm hoping these tax breaks will help those from the studio formerly known as Psygnosis make a fresh start after Sony shut them down. I certainly wouldn't mind another Colony Wars type game. :)
I jumped, O my brothers, and I fell hard but I did not snuff it, oh no. if I had snuffed it, I would not be here to tell what I have told.

yes because in britain all you see is Bowler hats and red telephone boxes! i mean if i look out my window now every male seems to be wearing bowler hats and the phone box across my road is red. Seriously is still the way people see this Country? Honestly how many people have you see wearing a bowler hat this year? because i can say ive seen....zero and i can bet you people have more phone boxes that are made up of glass decorated with s**tty spray "tags" and chewing gum or just broken glass.

**Rant over**

>Aside from the occasional Frenchisms of a few voice actors, Heavy Rain was hardly a game about a Beret-wearing Garlic ogre climbing the Eiffel.

Which is a shame, as I would have bought Heavy Rain if it was.

I think this is a ploy to get GTA London made.

Couple the 25% tax break with the 21% corporation a tax and i think it works out better to make games in the UK....Canada has been undercut...

I would love to see this come through, but it won't. Don't forget there was a tax break already on the cards that the current governement axed as soon as they were elected.
