FIFA 13 review: EA Sports delivers once again... even if its

Your comments on our articles.

New changes are 99% Messi, 1% Shawcross

FIFA 12 was meant to be the biggie: better collisions, tactical defending and precision dribbling. This year's FIFA 13 was meant to be a tiptoe in the same direction, a microscopic variation on a theme. And it is, apart from one small change - first touch control. It's key.... read more

Its must be said, the length of this review does justice to the amount of changes made from fifa 12. Its still the best football game but if they could be arsed they could do so much more
- I troll without realising it

I'll stick with Fifa 12 for now- it's a brilliant game and will suit me just fine until the next-gen consoles.

Didn't need the review to confirm my purchase anyway but it has.

Shame the reviewer barely touched on Career Mode since it's one of the big things EA's been trying to improve on this year but hey ho I guess you're only allowed a certain amount of words to get your overall thoughts across.

Now we just wait for the PES fanboys and FIFA fanboys to flock to the comments to defend their favourite/attack the other and we can all go home happy.

Good review but I'm so torn between the 2 that I will probably buy both. I've enjoyed both demo's and feel the there's enough difference between them both to warrant buying both of them. I like all the authenticity you get with FIFA and the commentary is second to none, but there is something about PES which draws me every year. PES just seems to have the unpredictabilty with the ball physics that gives it a raw shine FIFA can't replicate. Don't get me wrong, both games are fantastic to play and I will probably buy both as I've said, but for me the raw gameplay I get with PES seems to make me play it more than FIFA most years - and it looks like this year will be the same...

Is this the sport where everyone falls down for no reason?
Some cheerleader at school or hot secretary at the office may not think you are cool but let’s be real, those very same bitches don’t love bacon and still use IE to explore the web.

Would have like to have seen more about the manager/career modes. Considering the demo plays very different to FIFA 12 I'm not sure what some are on about with the 'small changes' argument or were they expecting pink elephants? Seems fair as a score, amazingly the same as PES I think

I'd love to be in that position, mate. I think FIFA is really good this year but I'll be going for PES. My biggest problem is once you've been playing one game in a certain year for so long I struggle to adapt to the other.

There were 11000 gun related homicides in America in 2008, Japan had 6 gun related deaths in the same year. Does anyone know if they play videogames in Japan?

Anyone recommend a site for downloading a good option file for PES 2013? And also how quickly one will be out after release? Cheers

FIFA''s commentary is sublime, made me smile when I was playing the demo but i'll make do with Jon and Jim. :)

What format do you need it for PS3, 360 or PC?
