Best gaming new of 2012, only got into Mass Effect in March this year and now it's one of my favourite gaming franchises! :D

Not surprised.

They said ages ago that Mass Effect 3 was only the end of Shepards story.

Possibly, but with TOR failing, I don't think it's that likely Bioware will want to go that way again so soon.

Yay for more Mass Effect, but don't listen to the fans. That's why the ME1 remains my favourite in the series, because it had zero fan input.

This. There's no way that EA would commit to having two sci-fi MMO's.

Personally? MORE GARRUS. It was so upsetting saying goodbye; he was a mainstay in my squad from ME1 through ME3.

Don't be so sure... EA have Battlefield and MOH, and that doesn't stop them from releasing other FPS games. They have Army of Two, and now Dead Space 3 has co-op...

My point is that any ME game is at least 12-18 months away, in which time I would only expect TOR to either decline in users or possibly go completely Free to Play. Perfect time to introduce a new MMO with a rich established lore...

But if they read this and go with your advice, then doesn't that mean they'll be following fan's advice?

I'm glad there will be more Mass Effect. Also, I think it's an added bonus that it'll be minus Mark Meer! Huzzah!

If Casey Hudson is involved as exec producer again, I'm not touching this with a bargepole.
A mile-long, robot-operated bargepole.
Not because I'm feeling massively butt-hurt over the ME3 ending mess, but because the guy is clearly incompetent. I do not know why he's still employed and I can only assume he's got blackmail material on someone.

Actually not listening to the fans is what ruined the franchise little by little.

Something like the new PS3 game called Dust 514 and the online game MMO Eve in the Mass Effect universe. It would be epic and amazing and I want to be surprised with the story and charecters.

Why aren't I excited by this news? Parts of my BioWare soul are lost forever, I think they're on Eden Prime.

Maybe I'll change my mind after seeing a few trailers but right now I'm not interested in more Mass Effect. ME3 threw out most of what made the series good and turned it into a mindless shooter with a rubbish story. They're going to have to work very hard to convince me to buy another game in the series.
