Wii U: Five questions for Nintendo to answer at this week's

The one cable I want to see in the box is an ethernet lead. Wi-fi was incredibly flaky on both Wii and DS in my experience- being able to use wired networking would be hugely beneficial.

It would indeed but there isn't a ethernet port at all on the Wii-U like the Wii so you'll have to buy a USB adapter for it first.

My HDMI cable was 98p from Amazon.co.uk.

Kenny Dalglish isn't among your ranks, is he, CVG?

Is Nintendo Land free with the console? That's what I want to know.

I'm hoping most games can be played with just the Wii U GamePad tablet, without the need for the Wii remote, sensor bar and all the other extra things. Also, will the PSU be internal or separate?

The PS3 is a nice tidy console when it comes to wires and power supplies, it would be good for other consoles to follow suit.

This ^

It should come free with the Wii U !

Also,

Will the Wii U support 3D games ?

When will Nintendo Network be launched & when will it be compatible with the 3DS ?

How much is the Wii U ?

When will the Wii U be released in the EU ?

Will Wii U output Dolby trueHD or DTS Master Audio ?

Will you be able to send over your current Mii information to the Wii U from either the Wii or 3DS ?

Are Nintendo working with third party developers so that the Wii U Pad is actually used & not just as a selling point with no actual difference between PS3, X360 & Wii U ports ?

Can a proper external Hard Drive be connected to the Wii U ?

Does the Wii U have USB 3.0 ? (If not why the hell not ?!)

Haven't read the article, can't be arsed with the clicks for me its...

1. How much?
2. When?
3. What games on release?
4. What's bundled with it?
5. What the online like.

I'd also like to whether it's better or worse at petaflopalphaparticletesselation than the other consoles. Oh wait, no I don't.

I bought a SNES at launch, as did I the N64, Gamecube and Wii, all at launch. Don't be surprised if you see me in the queue for a WiiU...

On a more serious note, sure I have concerns about the WiiU but as always, the wait for those first-party Nintendo titles will always be worth the wait, no matter what the "hardcore" (LOL) crowd have to say. Give me just ONE definitive Zelda, Mario and Metroid each generation and I will be happy. Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 and Skyward Sword have been for me the ultimate videogames this gen, thus far. It says something that games such as Call of Duty, Assassins Creed and many, many more need to keep re-selling the same game year after year just to keep in the consciousness.

1. Can they get decent celebrities to advertise it.
2. Can I have one for Christmas. The console, not bastard Jedward or a Redknapp.
3. With ZombiU, Pikmin 3 and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
4. It's just I'm bored of clothes, films and chocolates.
5. Stop f**king around with Luigi's Mansion on the 3DS I demand it now not next year.
6. Name a Pokemon after Balla, he deserves it. And it would p**s a few Nintendo fans around here right off so it'll be a laugh.
Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to stay on my toes.
