Want this game but the Digital version is still offline. Btw, what is the difference between the retail and digital versions, apart from £10?

I would think that the digital version should be cheaper because the company dont need to pay for the getting the disk, case, manual, boxart etc. manufactured :/
Maybe they charge more because they feel that it is more convenient to people who may lose their disks?

Difference is the price and that you get the physical contents. You can find it for £35 if you shop around. I'm a bit let down by it tbh, so many issues that still aren't resolved and it feels boring and a very large amount of grind. Not the revolution it was hyped up to be.

Guild Wars 2 (Square Enix)???

Since when is GW2 Square Enix :P

I expect the next MMO to top the charts will be Mists of Pandaria at the end of this month.

Pity I couldn't find this in any shops over the weekend (bar Game). I would happily pay £35 for the game in a shop or even as a download to get it quickly, but now I've got to wait for the game to be delivered from an online store. Game wanted £50. That's the last time I'll be going in there.

£50 bloody hell.

Yeah I had to wait a bit longer for it to be delivered from Play, £34. Though I didn't pre-order, I don't know if that would've made it arrive any sooner.

Got mine from Tesco Direct. £34. Said nothing about it not being in stock so assuming they still have it. Said they would ship next working day (tomorrow).

Is that reference to WoWs expansion classed as one of the 2 MMO's that sold more at launch than GW2? If so an expansion to an existing MMO cannot be an MMO in its own right surely?

I paid £40 from Blockbuster store day of release (only 35 online from them gggrrr) best MMO I have played, reached level 31 with my asura thief since proper launch day. Still people go on and moan that GW2 features grinding, ffs any RPG (or any other genre that requires levelling up skills, weapons etc.) requires a "grind" to get money to buy kit to upgrade character etc. what GW2 has done is made it a bit more fun, well in my opinion anyway.
What you need to remember is that there's what people want to hear, there's what people want to believe, there's everything else, THEN there's the truth!

Enjoying it at the mo.

Buggy in places but that's to be expected.
Very nice for a subs-free MMO
