Creative Director Jean-Maxime Moris on why Capcom's sci-fi thriller will live long in the memory...

Is it Deus Ex meets Total Recall? Or Mirror's Edge meets Blade Runner? Or is it Uncharted meets Momento? Not even a bar full of leery games journalists could get to the heart of what Capcom's Remember Me is all about. They could all agree on one thing though: Remember Me is the star of the show.... read more

It's amazing how they are willing to take a chance on a game that will (from the looks of it) fail.

I think Sony's going to regret letting this one go.

I'm in. Reads like my kind of game - on paper at least. Intelligent plot and game design. I would have liked having more than one possible outcome that allows for success and progress in-game, yet even without that my interest is very much piqued at this.

P.S. The saying about being dwarfs sitting on the shoulders of giants is also a quote from Sir Isaac Newton himself.

"If I have seen further [than certain other men] it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants." - Sir Isaac Newton

Since when does the gender of the main character have any detrimental impact on the game? Games like Perfect Dark, Metroid, Tomb Raider to name just a few prove that a female lead can be equally as successful as a male lead. I wonder how many games where you can actually choose the gender, people pick a female lead. The most important aspect is STORY and GAME PLAY - not the gender of the main character!

Personally I like the look of this game and it certainly has potential - I hope it gets realised! It reminds me a lot of Blade Runner and the Bourne series crossed with uncharted/assassins creed type game play so the potential is definitely there.

I will be watching this game to see how it develops and nice to see some new IP's too I think the next year is possibly the optimum time to release a new IP as the consoles will have the maximum user base . I know the next gen is just around the corner but in the first year of its life it will not have the same number of users. I can't see everyone upgrading as soon as it is released! Therefore releasing a new IP in the next year will probably give it the best chance to establish itself and reach the maximum number of people too especially as this is now multi-format!

he has a point about the female character thing. Remember 'No One Lives Forever' ? read an interview from the developer ages ago of him telling a story of being in a game shop and hearing someone returning the game because you played a woman in it...

b*****ks of course you can have a strong female lead and a good game tomb raider any one, plus fem shep in mass effect has more charisma charm and better voice acting then male shep,so you can have a strong female lead if a games shite it's shite dosn't matter who the lead character is.
