I wouldn't wish Dragon Age II on anybody. I'd rather put the rest of the money towards getting them Dragon's Dogma instead.

Or just get them a Pot Noodle.
Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to stay on my toes.

Kingdoms of Amular is usually 12.95 on Zavvi mega monday and is an essential game if you like fable, because it takes fable and rounhouses it in the nuts. Fable is a joke compared to this game. It also makes dragons dogma look like the plastic clone it is.

Also in this feature could have been

soul calibur 5 - 14.95 - zavvi
Fear 3 - 9.95 zavvi
space marine - 12.95 play.com/zavvi
Red faction Armageddon - 9.95 almost everywhere
Disgaea 4 - 14.95 Zavvi 19.95 shopto

When i now look back i see how great 2011 was for games, even the ones the idiots said were rubbish were still better than half of this years efforts. So far this year i can count the good games on 1 hand, 2 of them are listed above.

INstead of Gurellia you should have used Armageddon as your example as there is nothing more fun than destorying s**t .... and then repairing it and destorying it again.

You like: Being a lazy c**t
Try: Getting off your fat arse, and getting a job.
Price: A weekly trip to the job centre.

But why would somebody lazy like a job? Surely that's the complete opposite of what they'd want. They'd probably prefer a food hamper or a dvd boxset.
Here's a lockpick, now jog on.

Love Halo? Play Crysis 2

Crysis 2 isnt in the same league as Halo. Save your money.

Love: Gears Of War? Play: Vanquish

Forget Gears, just play Vanquish, far superior for gameplay IMO.

Love: Modern Warfare? Play: Bulletstorm

Absolutely give Bulletstorm a try, some of the most fun I've had with an FPS this gen. Hiding in a corner and waiting for an enemy to run past before shooting them in the back will get you nowhere though so certain COD players should take that into account first before buying :P

Love: Fallout? Play: Borderlands

Different games really. Borderlands is better as a shooter but Fallout is better as an RPG so depends on what you're looking for.

Love: Resident Evil 5? Play: Shadows Of The Damned

Absolutely you should play Shadows of the Damned, it was one of the best games of last year and it poops from a great height on Resident Evil 5.

Buy Shadows of the Damned .

I thought that these were supposed to be overlooked games, because I have all of them and glancing through the list the alternative choices were quite highly rated games in their own right.

Love - Being un-happy

Play - With an English woman

Cost - 50% of everything you own 75% if you have kids.

lol lol lol sorry cheap shot couldnt resist. Only playing

@Lastdodo

Your so right about Bulletstorm, another amazing game from last year, also shadows of the damned was great but dude its not better than res evil 5 on 360 playing co-op, your problem is you played it on the ps3 which constantly cuts out online.

I saw you were playing LFD 2 earlier, nice!! Gonna have to join you on that bad boy

I second this, it's one of the best RPG's of this generation and it hasn't seen any attention at all.
