It's a zombie apocalypse! (Or maybe just the 80s)

What would you do if, like in Deadlight, the zombie apocalypse hit tomorrow? Most of us would whip out our iPhones and start texting our mates. Tough guys would grab weapons. Cowards would run.... read more

Decent score. This and Dust are my most anticipated from this years SoA, so I'll definitely give this a go.

8 hour campaign? Everywhere else is pegging it at the 2/3 hour mark.

I was wondering about that. Eurogamer said under 2 hours.

CVG's reviews are often pretty ropey though!

Under two hours? Clearly that's nonsense. Besides, Eurogamer are a joke. It wouldn't surprise me if that was a flat out lie. Either that or they didn't bother completing the game.

Looks brilliant- anything in the mold of Flashback get's a thumbs up in my book! Looking forward to trying it out!

Just completed it- and I really, really enjoyed it. Not sure what the frustrations were that CVG mentioned- besides if you die you get sent to the last checkpoint which is usually about 30 seconds back so there's nothing to really get frustrated about. It says my total playing time was 2 hours 13 minutes- but that doesn't take into account the many, many times I fudged up. Still, for 1200 points it's a little pricey for about 4-5 hours. I also got most of the achievements in one play through.
It's pretty sublime though, control wise and graphically and the atmosphere is thicker than your average 'Made in Chelsea' fan. It also has some great music and a fun, if slightly corny story accompanying it. Might be worth waiting unless you're a fan of the old school Flashback type of platforming but I certainly enjoyed it. More like this please!

published by Microsoft Studios might want to get rid of those PC & PS3 tags on the article before you stir up some fan-boy war.
