Hideo Kojima paid a sneaky visit to see The Last of Us at E3, according to a tweet by Naughty Dog boss Ethan Wells, to learn the secrets of why PS3's flagship game looks so fantastic. The answer, as PSM3 discovered during an alternate playthrough of the Sony E3 demo, is down to bearded hero Joel's 'punch lasers'.... read more

Seriously CVG? Do you really want to do this? Do you really think this is a good idea?

Could be, it could go either way.

So now that's pretty much decided, who's willing to go fetch me some Bisto gravy granules while I make sure the chicken and roast potatoes are sorted.

Thanks for confirming The Last of Us isn't Uncharted and that the gameplay is not scripted.

Now people are gonna have to find new reasons to trash a promising looking game

The animations, environments and lighting in this game are going to look very, very good. I doubt that Zombi U or even Resident Evil 6 is going to be able to match this.

Definitely one of the best next year (I'll probably enjoy GTA V more), no doubt!

Just no, If the title said "most scripted" game of next year then I would have bothered to read his article. 3rd person cover shooters(unless very realistic), first person shooter(unless totally un realistic) game bore the hell out of me these days.

Maybe you should read it before posting?

Sounds like its anything but scripted.

Bisto gravy granules? You want to ruin the entire roast? Tell me you have some chicken stock somewhere as well...

What's wrong with ya man, you can't top a bit of Bisto!

They've started doing their own chicken or beef microwave sunday dinners now. Even I'm not cheeky enough to throw one of those on people's plates though. I do have some class. Deep down. Plus they cost £2.50 each.

I'm not actually that anti-Bisto, but on its own it tastes artificial and nasty, like it is. It needs to be combined with some other gravy.

Nor am I hellishly fussy about my food, and will happily eat ready-meal roasts for the convenience, but given that you've invited the entire forum over to yours for a roast I'd expect something a tad more special. And I'm not talking "Crispy's video collection special".

certainly starting to sound like my best game of 2013, it'll be close with some other titles on the wish list.
hoping for a demo this year to confirm what i can imagine ND are capable of. Its a must own title at the very least, can't wait to go all crazy! with this engine they're using.
You get taste of what will be possible in UC3 and how things around the room during combat can be brought into the fight, wether it be a glass bottle or frying pan to the face or pushing AI up against walls while punching them in the ribs to throwing them out glass windows. If they have built upon this, like it sounds they have significantly, im twiddling my thumbs waiting for it.
Multiple playthroughs predicted :)

We seem to have gone off topic a bit here, can we please go back to the Bisto Vs Chicken stock debate. 8)

Well if you read the article you wouldn't look so stupid, it's not scripted like you think and it's not a all out 3rd person shooter.

Also have anyone here played this game yet?
