That is amazing! The attention to detail and the sheer size of it. V. Impressed.

That is epic! They're true A Song of Ice and Fire fans.

On a side note, Minecraft looks amazing in these screenshots. I've been exclusively playing the 360 version and it looks terrible compared to this. Unfortunately my laptop has trouble running Solitaire, nevermind Minecraft. :?

The PC version looks about the same as the 360. These screenshots have been rendered outside the game using some other software, probably Blender.

Not true. They are using a mod called Sonic Ether's shaders. That is all rendered ingame.

yep, as Azev said its rendered ingame using a mod, screenshots are then probably altered a little within Photoshop for that tiltshift filter and a bit of color.

But in terms of these images.. my god, that is amazing amounts of patience and dedication.. Damn.

Noticed this on reddit yesterday, apparently the map (since currently it is Westeros - in shape if not fully populated with all the cities yet) is verging on many, many GBs. Check out the live map on their website - it's insane.

if people can be bother to make all these in minecraft then there's hope yet that someone will licence cryenigne 3 and make a real game of thrones/a song of fire and ice RPG to rival the size of WoW or the depth or dayz/witcher.
