More comfortable, better battery and improved 3D

Surely Nintendo's executing its release schedule in the wrong order? Sixteen months after the release of its tiny, multi-coloured range of 3DS models, it's set to release a chunkier, heavier and less sexy version of its latest handheld - and all for around the same price.... read more

That first paragraph on page three is the swinger for me. Looks like I'll be sticking with my Li'l 3DS for now.

A handheld that has an internal battery that does not come with a charger.

FAIL.

I really don't get the thinking behind it, other than being a cynical cash-grab.
An AC adapter must cost what, a couple of quid at most to include, probably more like pennies. It's not an issue over here in Canada as the NA version is apparently coming with one included (not to mention it's still about 30 quid cheaper here, even after adding the crazy Canadian tax), I don't see why they'd do that here but not back home.

Typical. Complainers complaining over nothing

The System has 15+ improvements, yet all people can focus on is what it doesnt............

Seriously?

A charger is not only cheap. The majority of Us already own one according to there own research

Probably be getting one, glad they got rid of the god awful gloss finish. I can't begin to describe how much I hate fingerprints everywhere. And the improved 3D sounds good, I never particularly liked the effect on the original 3Ds because the sweetspot was small to the point that I just turned it off full time rather than bother with it

The lack of the charger is still a sticking point as a ridiculous decision though. It almost seems like a deterrent to trade-ins by either forcing you to have and hang on to a previous model or shell out more cash just to be able to get a functioning product

Have you looked at it? Most people are saying the difference is negligible

Waddabout people who don't own a 3DS?
The omission of a charger is ludicrous on Nintendo's part.
And a f**king penny pinching one at that!

If I'd seen one myself I wouldn't currently be relying on other peoples' opinions for information.

You do realize they are sold in every game store, for dirt cheap

And you realize anyone who owns any nintendo portable, that charger will work too.

Its not a big deal

Ah you see, I was interested in picking up one of these to take away with me on holiday, the bigger screen sounded just the ticket. Not bothered about 3D at all. no power pack though? Something else I'll have to buy, pushing the price up as well as games, screen proctectors, protective casing.. etc.

I think I'll wait.
Do you want Chilli on that?

You make no sense

So you have to buy a cheep power pack at the store when you buy it ( or use your old one)

your going to ignore how big of an improvement the system is?

Makes no sense.

Sorry mate but your so wrong on this. I was going to buy my lad one of these for his birthday or Xmas but no power pack equals no sale. Why should I pay more than every other country and receive less?

Imagine buying a phone and not having a charger included, ridiculous, no argument so let it go.

Actually, if charges are so cheap, why aren't ninty including one?

You make no sense. Do you have any idea how much an official Orm and Cheep power adapter is?

I don't understand, the stylus was easy to reach. Just give it a bit of effort, you know, stretch your finger a bit and flick it out..Not difficult.
