Oh come on. That's some pretty pathetic trolling there. I'm sure you can troll much better than that. Try again.

Not really $225 cost will mean £400+ price point, of course this will be sold to you at a "loss" just as you lot thought last time around

I'm intrigued by the glasses, seems like a modern take on VR to me. Powered by the 720 this could define next gen but if kinect is anything to go by it will probably be mostly shovelware produced for it.

In doing so, CVG was told by one anonymous source that the 56-page file is genuine.

The landlord of your local pub?
Who also told us that Buck Rogers was indeed on his way back to earth, with Mickey Mouse and Michael Jackson on board?

I can wait for xbox 720.
And I'll only believe it when I see it.
I remember the first time I had sex - I kept the receipt.

An interesting read... If those really are Microsoft's plans for the X720, they sound extremely promising. Not a whole lot to criticise. It would have the power, and the DVR-functionality would be a plus for me, as I haven't got one. I'd like the AR-glasses, which would seem to be a step towards VR, sort of VR-lite. And I'd like the improved Kinect as well.

"Kinect version 2 will allow for "four players, sitting or standing" as well as sophisticated technology that can register props such as baseball bats"

I'm hoping the launch title will be "Dead Rising: third inning"... and that I'll remember to remove any nearby fragile objects before playing.

I will be buying the Wii U this generation if either Sony or Microsoft fails to officially announce a system within the next three months

THat's a REALLY interesting strategy that MS has cooked up, personally I'm pretty interested to see if they can pull off this masterplan, although to be honest I'm more interested in the games part of it :P

I'm sure that Sony and nintendo (more likely Sony) have similar ish plans so it'll be cool to see how these mega companies square off (Apple, samsung, Google, MS and Sony)

That one will come with colourful AR-shades, designed by a world-famous rock musician.

Because Future Publishing would get a lot less money from advertisers. If they didn't do stuff like that then they wouldn't have a website as the advertising pays for it. Clicking once every couple of paragraphs really isn't that much effort. It probably took more effort to write your comment about it.

i don't want the next microsoft console to be a jack of all trades and a master of none, i want a next-gen console that use's all its power for playing games.

If legitimate, the 56-page document titled "XBox 720-9-24 Checkpoint Draft 1" reveals a host of details about the technology being rolled out with the next-gen Xbox and Microsoft's thinking about the competition in not just the rarified console market but also from Apple and Google.

I am surprised they even went with "720" on the document :?:
I'd have hoped it would have been more imaginative than that.

The glasses seem cool but at the moment most people are raging even against 3D glasses so that is going to be an interesting challenge if true!!

I don't need to read a leaked document to outline their plans, their motives are plainly obvious...

Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect, Kinect...

As well as continue to shove two fingers up at the people that bought the 360 (like me) because when it came out it was supposed to be a games machine with proper games I wanted to play in the first place.

Oh, and I forgot Kinect.
