Steel Batallion: Heavy Armour review: A promising game, crip

Postby mowglippml » 19 Jun 2012, 16:05

In my dream world: MS & Capcom release a patch so we can use the 140 button controllers instead of Kinect as well as backward compatibilty for the original Steel Battalion (& Line of Contact too - it is a dream ;) ).
*sigh*

Sounds absolutely dire. One to avoid at all costs methinks.

If this game isnt enough to prove Kinect is the biggest piece of s*** M$ has ever come up with (and yes, that includes Vista) then I dont know what is.

Agree !!! I still have that controller !

Surely this is proof thatmotion technology is just a silly gimmick, only useful for party games for people with low attention spans and bingo wings

Ahhhh Kinect.

I still see the Kinect as the special needs child of the Wii sensor bar and the Playstation eyetoy, i feel like i should maybe make a paypal donation to it because of a sad advert with rain falling down onto it whilst its in some alley next to some bins with a voice over saying something like......

2 pounds.... Just 2 pounds can help this forgotten child retrain as a doorstop.........

Seriously who bought Kinect???? Dance games aside it has zero point and quite frankly dance games can go suck one as well.

I was really looking forward to this. then i played the demo. Now i might rent it out of idle curiosity.

The problem with kinect is that when it works, Its brilliant and when it doesn't its diasterous. There's no middle ground with it.

I've found that Kinect is a lot better when quite stoned. I think it somehow makes the lag more acceptable.

It's funny that Sony got bored of pushing move after a year, even though it works well and has games the Kinect would kill for.

But MS are determined not to look like fools on this one. Come on MS, admit defeat. Kinect is rubbish just forget about it
