Nintendo shares sink for third day running

Postby CrispyLog » 08 Jun 2012, 12:11

Wow, so this really is the end for Nintendo isn't it.

Rest in peace Mario, you brave little fella.

I distrust patriotism; the reasonable man can find little in these days that is worth dying for. But dying against - there's enough iniquity in Europe to carry the most urbane or decadent into battle.

Balla would know on you're on the wind up but stealth, sentinator and that CInos are probably frothing at the mouth.

Nintendo stock is down 48.5% on last year's valuation. But with nearly a trillion ¥ in cash, it's a long way from being in any sort of trouble.

Not surprised. After all the rumours and silence this is the best they could do I'm sure some investors lost faith. The thing I don't get is they have Madden so why not show it? Its out this year so whats the problem?

Hopefully when it shows itself on launch day things will have improved but until then I can cross my fingers and toes that Mass Effect, Tekken and Ninja Gaiden join my beloved Mario for launch day. Assuming its Mario they are launching it with.

I love this spin this site is giving, sony and microsofts stocks are also down..........are we writing articles about that?

"Nintendo's Wii U has been getting the cold shoulder from both analysts and respected industry figures. Earlier this week Sterne Agee analysts Arvind Bhatia and Brett Strauser said the Wii U lacks a killer app."

Lets ignore all the positive play testings

"On Friday Lionhead founder Peter Molyneux said the Wii U's dual screen format might be too demanding for players and unsuitable for core, twitch-based games."

Lets ignore the DS, and lets also ignore he was forced out because all he wanted to do were touch games

there hasnt been a time ever before nintendos released a system were stock was high

stock was low for wii and ds too, how did that turn out?

Just sayin

Every game companies stock is quite down. It also has to do with nintendo not being profitable in 2011, which will change in 2012

"The device has to win support from within the family," Nintendo president Satoru Iwata said this week. "We have to show the benefits of the Wii U device from different angles in order to reach the mother, the father and the children."
Tell me since when did my mum and dad start watching E3? no offense but thats a show that only people real passionate about gaming are gonna bother watching and keeping track of, this is mearly some type of excuse from nintendo for not having decent games, there aint been another angle thats been shown, damn console has good potential but nintendoland is their finale ?

if i had shares within nintendo i'd be freaking the f**k out also, hell the majority of these casual gamers might never touch the wii u since they've already played and gotten bored of the wii, i'd say there digging their own grave but nintendo have lots of money and aint really been in loses before.

Apologies, I'd not seen you on CVG before the last few days, thought you were one of those fans that only pops up to defend their beloved plastic box of choice.

It's not fair to lump you (or sentinator) in with stealth
