Nintendo Land screens are a heartbreaking reminder of Ninty'

Postby kimoak » 05 Jun 2012, 19:35

Like I have said before. I don't want another Zelda or Metroid. There are much more other interesting games I would rather see than those 2 games. Sick to the back teeth of damn Zelda and Metroid!
Optimus Prime: I want you to go in that bag, and find my wallet.
Megatron: Which one is it?
Optimus Prime: It's the one that says Bad motherf**ker

This is what happens, when gimmicks becomes more important than gaming.

I don't see this being a disaster: it'll probably be a fun little diversion in the vein of Wii Sports. The problem was that Reggie spent so much time talking about it.

There were much worse games shown, tragically. SiNG, anyone? Thought not.

This game is clearly just a re-skin of those Shield Pose experiences that were shown on E3 last year. No need to bring out the doom.

Evidently just padding because there wasn't an awful lot else they had to talk about. I don't want Nintendo to fail (and I'm sure others feel exactly the same), but it wasn't exactly encouraging. Just hope they've got something very special up their sleevies, not just their armies.
I want an excuse to buy another Nintendo console...haven't played since the Gamecube days.

Honestly, this showing was that bad that someone should have booed them off the stage, I feckin would have. That was just downright awful for a company releasing a new console grr

I don't think that's what the real fail is.

We don't need franchises that are decades old to be re proven, it's all about 3rd parties which showed a token effort

Do you think anyone at Nintendo would be reading through these forums, and maybe realise they have blown it big time? And somehow try and make it all better again? fecking doubt it though......Im still gutted....I was really waiting on Nintendo to show us they had made a real comeback!

I mean....Bataman?? Really??? I HAVE IT ALREADY!!!! Its not going to make me buy the Wii U....And lets not forget the wonderful Nintendo land.....God almighty, its just so bad its funny, i think its time to sit back and watch the demise of Nintendo over the next few years if they dont get their act together, stupid gimmicks just will not cut it any more, Sony/MS have their own stupid gimmicks that are competing very well, especially Kinect, so there is no real draw to the Wii U this time for the gimmicks alone.

I could rant on and on....but im just too dejected lol :x

Yes, it's like PS Home, But not as boring. They should call it Mii Plaza though.

1) nintendo land will probably be packaged in

A zelda or metroid wouldnt be

2) Since when aside from maybe 1 time were either of these at launch? Would never be right?

3) They literally have the best first party title ever for launch out of anything they could of

A new mario 2d platformer will sell 10+ million units and sell wii u out

no other series worldwide has that power

I don't think it is. Miiverse will pick up the Home-a-like slack, whereas Nintendoland will have some Home-a-like features but will be mostly about the games.

PS Home has games as well though. And what's wrong with mostly being about the games? There's barely anything to do in PS Home anyway.
