You know the price conversion won't be exact. It'll be higher in the UK if anything.

Wii U price is £249, claims Nikkei

If this is true, I doubt this will be said tomorrow. Nintnedo is just showing Wii U software and hardware and have said that there will be no price or date announced. Reasonable price anyway.

If we get that price over here (without the usual rip-off Britain tax applied), I'll buy one! :D

That's not bad at all. They're gonna have to work hard to convince me to get a Wii U however, but the price is right, if it's right.

I thought this was revealed a few weeks back as the estimated price. I'd certainly pay more than that.

The rumoured Euro price earlier in the year was the equivalent of £250. I expect £300 which is a good price for it.

yeah as Smash says, that conversion is probably not including the VAT,which at the moment stands at 20%..

so i dunno the price is more like gonna be 300 quid, and for a machine that is rumoured to be as powerful or slightly more powerful than the PS3 and 360.....yeah i think i am out(I was anyway  )

I'd happily part with three hundred notes for a HD Nintendo machine. Especially after the Microsoft conference.

Simply put I love Nintendo titles. I play my PS3 more than my Wii but I'd expect the Wii U to have some strong support. Microsoft failed to impress and I don't have high expectations from Sony at the moment.

^THIS

As a Xbox 360 fanboy, apart from Halo 4 the Xbox 360 e3 briefing was wank. I've been playing a lot of my 3DS lately which has raised my interest in Ninendo again. Looking forward to tomorrows briefing and like the guy above I'm not expecting anything much from Sony although I am looking forward to LBP Karting! :)

Forget the exchange rate, $383 will end up being £399 or maybe £349 in the UK. The 3DS launched at a whopping £239 without a game, it's now £149, just can't see it launching at £249 (£100 more than a 3DS). Even £299 is too much to pay, but I know history has shown that other consoles have sold for more, even around 20 years ago (3DO, Saturn, Mega CD...). Nintendo could knock out the 3DS for £99, Wii U for £199. Trust me.
