The first game in the series was an unapologetically bleak trudge through flickering train tunnels under a nuke-bombed Moscow with only a lighter and your shadow for company. And when you finally clawed your way to the surface? Nothing but grey skies, acid rain and mutants that look like the products of Rancor/Elephant Man sexy time.... read more

Enjoyed Metro 2033 on a recent playthrough, but I would rather have/play another Stalker title, this does look nice though.

I absolutely loved the first and the idea of seeing flashbacks of the war sounds really cool.
EA Sports: It's in the game(for a price).

Adore 2033, can't wait for this. Hope it has equally well done difficulty settings.

Agreed, although I have always wondered about a hybrid of the two, a super game if you will; the kind of cross breeding that gave the world the Tigon, or Rihanna. Regardless, I can't help but resent 'Last Light' considering I just went cold turkey after two years of smoking..

I absolutely loved the first game and cannot wait to play this one as well. I love the atmosphere of these games and the Stalker games.

the atmosphere in the first was absolutely cracking, well worth a play just for that, but the shooting was pretty woeful. the book ("Metro 2033" funnily enough) is a great read too. look forward to this one.

I loved the metro: 2033 game and the book(if liked the game, Definitely get this book) so im really pumped for this. It's still quite sad that the next S.T.A.L.K.E.R game has been cancelled though. One of my favorite game franchises!

amazing graphical lustre

No, no, NO!
What was shown would have been amazing 2-3 years ago but not in 2013!

Although I suppose it would be much more important for them to fix the stealth gameplay than improve the graphics. Because that is what made me stop playing Metro 2033.

Odd, this preview says it's running on Wii U. But another article this site posted today as well => http://www.computerandvideogames.com/349683/metro-last-light-not-currently-in-development-for-wii-u/ says it's not under development on the Wii U, what gives?

For months I've been thinking this was called Metro: Last Night. What a putz.

Anyhow, looks and sounds awesome. Sounds like it's got a lot of the elements I loved about HL2.
