I'll be interested to see how this turns out. Looks nice so far and they sound like they have some good ideas, but as you say there's been far too many licensed tie-ins which have turned out a bit bum, so here's hoping this one bucks that trend. I think it's good to see developers who realise that a license is not a good excuse for a lack of good game design.

I love the show so I'll be keeping my eye on this one, I really hope it turns out to be good, it doesn't need to be a 90+ score just a decent score.

I wont be getting this purely because it is based off of the TV side of Game of Thrones / A Song of Fire & Ice.

The TV show is wanting to take Game of Thrones off into a direction that is not nessecarily the books direction, meaning that in times the tv show will run off its own steam instead of the lifeline that the books provide (and its already started to venture away from it). This means that there could be quite a lot of stuff 'made up' just for the show and game.. meaning, no.. its not meant to be like that. So consider me out of this..

Ill stick to reading the books and then watching the shows to see if I imagined it correctly.

I lol'd at the end "not colour changing endings - they're very, very different. [They aren't] Mass Effect franchise endings."
Anyways, I look forward to this, sounds pleasing being a huge fan of this series... But I do hope there will be a demo.

Apparently every 30 minutes it cuts to a whore getting banged which isn't relevant to the story what so ever.

I read the first book yonks ago and currently almost finished Dance With Dragons (part 1) and I know there is no way on earth they could faithfully recreate every part, point and character likeness as in the books - the TV show would need 20 seasons just for the first few books !!!

Annoyingly yes there are some tangents taking place - but the TV show has to go for an audience made up of die hard book fans and new fans alike (but still annoyed Theon's sisters' name was changed to Yarra...to avoid confusion..)

I hope the game is good, but not holding my breath...strangely my imagination of Stannis was completely wrong..he looks a bit odd in the TV show...best characters deffo Tyrion and Varys / Littlefinger (Baelish)

Don't forget Bronn, and Brienne is going to be fantastic!

I think that the series represents the books okay apart from odd changes now and again (Rakharo dying, Stannis and Melisandre actually having sex) and all the unnecessary nudity and banging. Seeing Melisandre give bith to the shadow was absolutely ace!

Yeah my imagination of Stannis was completely wrong also.. yet Renly was more or less spot-on. They almost dont look like brothers now too :/

Melisandre birth-scene was very hard to really imagine.. I was like "So its a shadow.. or something dark shes giving birth to.. oook." and then the show coloured it in for me and I had goosebumps, mouth open in amazement and everything!

One of my worrys was the CGI team for the show may not do some elements justice (especially in the upcoming parts).. but seeing the detail on the shadow (like its hand grasping her leg and whatnot) .. I have no worrys anymore. Just hope they dont venture too far from the books so much that it distorts the entire thing.. The show suggested that at one stage, they may start making new storys.. Thats all well and good, but not if the author isnt onboard.

Yeah, I kind of imagined Stannis to look more like the chap who plays Davos - Michael Ironside would of made a good Stannis ! Yeah, birth scene was a bit odd - the missus walked in on me watching it and it looked like some sort of porno at the worst of times !

Yup, going to be tough depicting those big old dragons....but who knows - i reckon they will pull it off !

Bronn was a brilliant bit of casting...although I still remember him from the awful series: Badger. lol Brienne looks very good, the constant nudity does get a bit tiresome after a while (cant believe I am saying that) as they could devote more time to the plot rather than seeing the cast flop their wobbly bits out. Stannis' sex scene was just uncomfy to watch...bit like walking in on your folks doing it over your carefuly laid out Warhammer army :(

**SPOILER**

I have to say my bit to look forward to will be Gregor Clegane going mad and killing pretty much nearly everyone in the entire universe
