It's sad news but lets be honest, they were terrible at making a game that actually worked.
EA Sports: It's in the game(for a price).

Too bad. Obsidion was one of my favorite developers. Granted, many of their games were a bit rough around the edges, but I always felt the stuff they made had plenty of soul.

Aw that's a shame, I too am a big fan of Obsidian!

Admittedly they need to spend more time on fixing bugs in their games, but like Bethesda's games i can look past the bugs to see what the developers were aiming for.

In all fairness, Obsidian in KOTOR2, NWN2, and FO:New Vegas has bettered what has come before in Bioware and Bethesda's games! well in my opinion anyways. They introduced so many new aspects that just improved the original concepts. I thoroughly enjoyed the shadier side of KOTOR 2, and it felt a lot darker as a sequel than ME2 did to ME. New Vegas, bugs and all, I felt was far more enjoyable and shadier than FO3 - it was closer to the original games than what Bethesda had managed.
