Alan Wake 2, MGS Rising set for December reveals

Postby dannyhulse » 03 Nov 2011, 22:16

Alan Wake 2, Hopefully time to show what the first Alan Wake could have been, great concept and I want to see more but slight flawed execution.

Interested to see what MGS Rising has become since that Microsoft E3 reveal a few years ago.

What could Bioware be up to? *cough* Dragon Age 3 *cough*

It wont be Alan Wake 2,on Eurogamer they said its not Alan Wake 2 and it's not DLC its something else through Xbox Live(spin off?)...hopefully not Kinect related
EDIT:oh and its actually this Monday that it gets revealed
UPDATE: GameInformer's Jim Reilly just Tweeted, "Quick clarification re: Alan Wake VGA announcement: It's a standalone download game through Xbox Live, not Alan Wake 2."

ORIGINAL STORY: A follow-up to Xbox 360 survival horror Alan Wake will be unveiled on Monday, along with a new title from BioWare.

Eurogamer

and plleeeeeeaassseeee let the new Bioware game be either Knights of the Old Republic III(doubtful because they have just done TOR)or Jade Empire 2

Will somebody go round to StoneCold's gaff and see if we need to phone an ambulance for either a massive heart attack or massive ejaculation.

But seriously, this week has bypassed E3 for reveals:

GTA V
Alan Wake 2
Rainbow 6: Patriots
New Bioware game
MGS Rising

It's been a good week. Just as we were finally settling with the surge of November games, we get these dropped on us to send the excitement meter through the roof! C'mon 2012!

There won't be a full reveal of the AW game next Monday, just a screenshot. Can't wait to see what kind of game it is, plus it lends credence to the rumour of AW2 being held back till next-gen.

As for the Bioware game, I'd be very surprised if it isn't Jade Empire 2 (or HD remake of the original), as Bioware have been tweeting about JE a lot over the past week. One of their team was playing through it again...

Curious to see Alan Wake download title. Could be good if they address the issues with the main game.

More exciting though is this new Bioware game. I reckon Jade Empire 2, but if I had a choice, it would be KOTOR 3.

Knowing my luck though, it will be another Dragon age game.

It's not Alan Wake 2 it's a game based around the Night Springs tv shows that were in the game so it might not be as exciting as you expect but on the other hand it could be. I loved Alan Wake and didn't find it flawed at all. It's a shame that so many people chose to overlook it.
