Possibly because he didn't win? Though I see he did enter.... #120 in the number of people who did so...

For the record, when a competition closes we get a big Excel spreadsheet made up of the details everyone who's entered.

We then use random.org to pick a series of random numbers from the total number of entries - for example picking 5 integers between 1 and 500... the numbers selected are matched against the entrants and they are declared the winners...

Simple, fair and entirely random...

I think he may've been only kiddin', John.
I think it's a fix too.
I never entered this comp either but, in me heart, I deserved to win.
Cos I never win anyfink. Therefore, in my eyes it's a fix.
So I may just enter the next comp and hope that you pick my name.
Randomly, of course.
However, I'd prefer it if you didn't pick at random and just picked me.
Fanx.
