im keen to see how they go with this, as i knew with DNF they really didn't have a lot of option or choice on what was happening, all they were doing is finishing what someone else started, which most of the time won't be exactally awesome as hoped. But give them the chance to build up from scratch, i'm sure they can pull impressive results.
I think it was inportant to get this one finished so that they could start with a clean slate. It was never going to be any good anyhow. They made the best of a very bad situation. Now they can go forward from there. I would be interested to know what was old stuff and what was Gearbox and their work.
Optimus Prime: I want you to go in that bag, and find my wallet. Megatron: Which one is it? Optimus Prime: It's the one that says Bad motherf**ker
Surely, given the immense hype and eventual disappointment that Duke Nukem Forever turned out to be, a better strategy would have of been to say absolutely nothing about a new Duke game until it was virtually finished. Spend the time working on an absolutely brilliant game without getting everyone's hopes up and then releasing it clear of the DNF fiasco free to stand on it's own merits.
