Rayman Origins: Is it Rayman's time to shine again?

Postby ginsin » 14 Aug 2011, 17:42

Rayman has been one of those rare characters whose games have worked well in both 2D and 3D. I'm definitely looking forward to Rayman Origins.
Victory is just a prelude to the next battle.

"It doesn't help that his best-regarded work, the original Rayman, is a game that pretty much no one seems to have played, and one that's only available for purchase on the black market as a freebie with a six-pack of heroin."

Was this a joke? You can just download it off PSN, or DSiWare.

The original came out on the Jaguar and GBA didn't it? Anyway, Origins looks terrific. Can't wait to get it.

And the PSone and the Saturn. Think it was ported to pretty much every platform going at the time. I had it on the Saturn i remember it looking ace and being really hard.

Rayman has always reminded me of a cross between something like Superfrog and a worms character, probably the charm in the look of the character.
