They should let this turd of a game die. Easily one of the worst games this gen along side Haze, just move on.

unless they overhaul the entire single player (as in rebuild levels and redo dialogue) they should stop wasting their time and make a real sequel.

Is it really that bad, I tried the demo on Live and wasnt too impressed but was considering picking it up cheap, purely for the nostalgia trip.

Just Give it Up.

Make a New Duke from scratch if you care so much Gearbox...

The thing that killed it for me is that it controlled vey poorly, shooting and driving were really fustrating and it seemed to have no fluidity at all.

The signposting really lets it down too as you're not just supposed to walk from A to B and pess a button, there are often arbitrary objectives which aren't obvious so when you haven't done something you didn't realise you were supposed to the game just loses all immersion as you wander about trying to make something happen.

Having said that, if they were prepared to put a years work in to smooth it all out and redesign some bits I'd happily shell out £40 as I think a well made version of DNF wouldn't be a bad game at all.

Auto-aim fix

Random? whos using Auto-aim on a PC game?

Its good to see Gearbox trying to change the game, to try and at least make the multiplayer playable, but still won't be picking it up, until its £5 in a Steam sale, unless they fix the single-player. Just have to wait for Duke Nukem Reloaded to be finished.

I really enjoyed the game, didn't have any issues with it, I thought the driving and the shrunken duke levels were especially fun.

Seriously? I found it quite linear. I've just got the Platinum on it. I found it a fairly decent old school romp. I actually enjoyed the jokes (1st few times anyway) and found it quite a refreshing change from the military shooters.
Some of the level designs aren't brilliant. Some of the boss battles which rely on cover dont offer too much cover. And the loading times are horrendous.
