Led Zeppelin turned down Bobby Kotick

I guess you could say Led Zeppelin didn't show a Whole Lotta Love to Bobby Kotick.

"In the case of Guitar Hero, we did the research and it was very clear people didn't want more 80s heavy metal music,"

This was what was wrong with Guitar Hero series from World Tour onwards - there wasn't enough 70s and 80s rock and metal. It was all modern, mainstream shite.

So true. That's The Way it was for me anyway. Loved the first few Guitar Hero games right up to 3, but after that, seeing the set lists full of Foo Fighters & Kaiser Chiefs was a real Heartbreaker.

Talk about a communication breakdown. Bobby should do a misty mountain hop over the hills and far away. Thank you.

I was hoping Rock Band would end up nabbing a few Zeppelin songs after they introduced the Pro mode in RB3 but it's looking like Harmonix failed to bring it on home as well! How many more times do the fans need to ask for it?!

It's nobody's fault but mine for gettin me hopes up, I suppose!

Bobby has recieved a 'custard pie' to the face and has been 'trampled underfoot' by a richer man it would seem. Anyway, its a nice day outside so I may go lay 'down by the seaside', next to 'the ocean', maybe have a 'hotdog'....I'm bored; 8)

I never touched Guitar Hero apart from the the odd blast due to the lack of decent metal, little or no Slipknot, Korn, In Flames, Parkway Drive, BMTH, Emmure, Devildriver, Machine Head, Fear Factory, NIN, Devil Wears Prada etc (I could go on but I know most of you will be like WTF?? )
