Oh the dreams I had of what Mass Effect could have been after being hyped up and disappointed with the first one. Hell, I even enjoyed the first one a whole damn lot as it truly felt like a Bioware game. I had high hopes for a sequel to build on the initial idea and actually expand on ideas that they were never able to realise first time round but... look what we have now. In my own opinion, now a shooter with one or two RPG elements that is slowly being dragged even further into the shooter direction. Playing ME2, it didn't even feel like a Bioware game to me anymore. I consider this generation to be the whole reason I'm becoming less of a gamer. Series being wrongfully changed. Emphasis on bringing multiplayer into where it is not needed. New consoles already being announced. This gen hasn't even justified itself yet to me. I guess I will be sticking to games I consider to be classics and actually have fun with what they are, and not what some franchise milking boss considers to be a better money making scheme.
