Hands-on with Rocksteady's sequel...

The weight of expectation is something we're really aware of, and we feel it every day," says Rocksteady's Dax Ginn after 30 incredible minutes with the latest build of Arkham City. "But coming out of Arkham Asylum, we've got a lot more confidence as a studio. We're not worried about making a great game - we know we've already done that." Their confidence is justified.... read more

I have absolute faith that Rocksteady will produce an amazing sequel to an amazing game...though I'm still not entirely sure about this new "flight mechanic" - so far it's about the only thing that sounds slightly off to me :?

If the game is as good as the article makes it out to be then this game will most likely be GOTY, only thing i can think of beating something as spectacular as this is Uncharted 3.

Sounds great, loved the first one, can't wait for this.
There are many conflicting legends as to whether or not the Hero of Oakvale killed the Guildmaster. It's said that the words, "Your health is low" were carved into his forehead.

i seriously cant wait to don the old cape and cowl again!!!

if there are as many fanboy niche's as Asylum then i may have to get some bat-tissues to clean up the resulting mess

It’s easy to be more excited about this game than a lot of other triple A titles coming out after this game simply because we’ve all grown up knowing Batman, and now to be able to play these games it’s just awesome. Thankfully we’ll have time to sink our teeth into this game before Skyrim and Uncharted 3 come out. Although I would say that, if Mass Effect 3 was coming out on the same day, and I could only pick one, I’d pick ME3 all the way (kind of a contradiction, but whatever)!

Yeah, interested to know how they've implemented this, you're gliding from higher heights, so it'll probably be fine .My thoughts are that the idea of extended flight is ok, but but perpetual flight does seem daft unless it's a very windy city.

It looks great but it's a got more competition than that for game of the year.
Mass Effect 3, Skyrim, Deus Ex HR and Skyward Sword for a start.
If anyone wants to see my favourite games take a look here :)

GOTY 2011 is a hard one to call i think skyrim will take the crown but this is my most anticipated game of the year i loved AA and i don't see how this will fail to be an excellent game from a gameplay, graphical and narrative stand point can't wait!!!
