it may not be released as an offical product but it may find its way onto the internet sooner or later anyway. We can only hope it's up long enough to be downloaded.

That icon did look like Crash. He was re-designed to appeal to the Japanese market as our version looked a bit.. well...

crash bandicoot was naff, and im a fan of platformers.

impressive what theyve done technically here though, but i still wouldnt want to play the game even if it was full surround 3d with lifelike visuals

I remember paying £38 for this game on release day, in a now closed game store in Wigan. I paid £35 on release day for Broken Sword 2:The Smoking Mirror in WH Smiths in Warrington. Best gaming years for me!

I dont remember those days, but its nice to see another Broken Sword fan. I long miss the days of TRUE point & clicks.
I wish they remade the last 2 broken swords, and took them back to 2D. I'd totally buy those, ten times over.

Amen to that dude. You should check out the fan-made Broken Sword 2.5. It's VERY well made and they have took it back to the original games point & click. It was originally in German with English subtitles, but they released an English pack last year. I would recommend it to any fan. :)

This is along the lines of what Crash games would look like had Naughty Dog kept the series. None of this horrible 'titan' nonsense.

This looks amazing! I salute whoever created it, great job! I would really love this to get an official release for pure nostalgia value.

+1

I never understoodwhy people played (and even rated!) Crash Bandicoot games. Having grown up on Mario, Alex Kidd and Bonk platform games are firmly entrenched as my favourite genre but Crash is really poor.

Id even go as far as to say Open Season and the Ice Age games are better platformers than Crash.

The Kart games are pretty cool though

There were 11000 gun related homicides in America in 2008, Japan had 6 gun related deaths in the same year. Does anyone know if they play videogames in Japan?

what's the point? Crash must be one of the most irritating and pathetic character designs ever.

Yup. Crash Bandicoot was and is a pile of s**t. I remember their ad campaign where they had a bloke in a crash outfit with a megaphone outside the Nintendo building calling them out. A franchise given more attention than it deserved.

Oh and Broken Sword.... Brilliant games. I still don't think that genre needs changing at all. 3d? screw that! It's all about the story and lateral thinking. Apart from Discworld. Lateral thinking in those lead you to destruction. :)
Optimus Prime: I want you to go in that bag, and find my wallet.
Megatron: Which one is it?
Optimus Prime: It's the one that says Bad motherf**ker

Seriously, how can you call yourself a fan of platformers if you don't give the original Crash games credit? The person who said movie games are better platformers is an especially big f**king idiot.
