Mass Effect 3 reveal incoming - more evidence

Postby Moribundman » 06 Apr 2011, 16:13

Yay yay yay.

Do they only invite the print journos to these things?

Bet someone'll leak somethign online before then.

One things for sure, I sure as s**t won't be buying any of those overprices underfilled print magazines but I'll still be reading the previews ASAP...

I agree. Just two small additions:

Next month, nothing else besides Brink and L.A Noire matters

Hope it's a better sequel than Dragon Age 2 was.

I think DA2 got a lot of undeserved stick... it only played like a button masher if you approached it as a button masher, if you took the time to set up the characters tactics properly you could get way more out of it.

^ I agree. I liked DA2's faster combat pace especially playing as a mage and there were moments throughout the game that were genuinely emotional. I've done it twice now, each game clocking in at an impressive 60 hours. Top game in my opininion. :)

As for Mass Effect 3, i'm unsure which platform to get it for. Obviously i have a save right from the very beginning on my Xbox but after playing The Arrival DLC on both consoles i really do believe that Mass Effect felt better to play on the PS3! Outrageous, i know. :?

I disagree. If anything DA2 didn't receive enough stick - especially from the game reviewing media. I've been playing the PC version of DA2, and while I do enjoy the fast paced combat and the high-definition pixel package for the PC version, as an RPG - and one that is linked with DA: Origins no less - it is dismal.

Quite frankly I'm shocked that BioWare released something so mundane. It flies in the face of their efforts over the past two decades or thereabouts.

Gaming nirvana: Mortal Kombat and Portal... the two 'ortals. Then LA Noire. Then Child of Eden. A small break, then Batman AC, Skyrim, Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3. Hot damn! I can't wait to read about ME3.
