This is getting embarrassing...

STOP! That's a word of warning to anyone who sees this on the shop shelves and thinks it might have anything at all to do with the Xbox/PS3 car chase game of the same name. The one developed by the Burnout people. The one that's quite good.... read more

Need For Speed Hot Pursuit

Further proof that big publishers don't care about their franchises. I bet the hype from the good version will still see sales from this title, even if a bunch of students put this together in a week.

Criterion should have handled this game too - they could even have used the old engine from Burnout 2 and added a few twists.

Looks like a PS1 game, disgraceful use of the brand name.

@AegisK,
I don't think its a case of developers not caring for the franchises, but a case of the Wii itself, they seem to me to be pumping 3/4 of there resources into the XBOX360 & PS3 developments & leaving the poor Wii games looking like that awful game in the video, only the first party games on Wii are really cared about now sadly.
Maybe the software houses have a development version of the Wii 2 or whatever its going to be called, and are starting to develop on there. :shock:
