Virtual Air Guitar Company brings motion control to PSN

Although Microsoft's Kinect and Sony's PlayStation Move are currently dominating the motion gaming stage with grand promises of one-to-one control and full body tracking, developer Virtual Air Guitar Company has quietly created a PlayStation Network title that can stand toe-to-toe with the motion gaming Goliaths using only the humble PlayStation Eye Camera.... read more

Kung Fu Live: 'A crap load of different tech put together'

hhhhmmmm 1 cheapo camera doing what kinect does.... :D

should sony buy this company before microsoft does? then they can get all kinect games ported using this tech,
with the bonus that we have move, so we can still actually control things properly....?

potentially very good

although the actual game looks a bit pap, if the tech works tho, sony should get on it! even if its just to get there hands on there skeletal whatever engine to give to ps3 developers,

now, whos first for the xbox fanboys....................................??

Who's to say that MS won't release some kind of sensor that connects to your hands in some sort of way, maybe a glove that picks up finger movements? The tech is there, just as it is with Move.

Not thought of that one? Didn't think so!

hahahahahahaha well done you get first prize, you get to lick your mothers ringpiece

oh and to answer, wouldn't that then make the almighty kinect just the same as move? just a hell of a lot more expensive, wouldn't that go against all your fanboy pap about why it was better in the first place.....???

The trailer for this game is hilarious and the guy in them - the Jack Black (...or is it Kung-fu Panda?) look-alike is actually part of their team - their audio lead.

I love the whole cheesy concept of this game and what has been achieved through applying advanced research to bringing out the best of relatively old hardware. I'm sure both Sony and Microsoft will wince when they see what has been achieved on a budget vastly smaller than what they have been throwing on their new tech.

It is a real David and Goliath-like story with a price to match ($14.99 / €13.99 EUR / £10.99 )

It ironic how a PS3 fanboy posts a bait post and then berates someone for replying, in a non fanboy way, just a little bit condescending, and then tries to start an argument out of nothing, come on whats the point? PS3 has its positive points and so does xbox. Just let it go guys just let it go.
