Sad thing is all the hopeless grand parents that will drift into GAME over Xmas and just see the Dr Who game and think that will be good! Kids/ guys/gals write that Xmas list now or suffer the affliction of the turd game present!

I understand the word "turd", but "execrable" escapes me, I take it its worse than just a plain turd though, right?

Oh God that made me laugh...

There will be many a Dr. Who game purchased for an exceedingly disappointed little boy or girl this Christmas.

..that also makes me laugh.

Since games existed, there has always been the unhappy present... bravo Dr. Who, this year, you shall make many kids put a brave face on, but will be crying inside.... I wonder if my nephews have been good or bad this year?

This game is utterly dreadful. In fact, my review was published a few days ago:

I gave it a 2/10.

it looks like a bloody n64 game. there was so much potential in the source material to make an absolutely cracking Dr. Who game. Seeing as they always wanted it to be a wii exclusive why didn't the Beeb just go to nintendo directly and go hey, do you want to make a Dr.Who game, they could of ported the adventure games from the PC, but no. we get this, i almost want to play it just to see how shite it is.

Too right there was potential. Given that the Doctor spends so much of his time running away from much more powerful enemies, this could have made a cracking stealth game. Creeping through the Daleks' base, complete with oodles of atmosphere... Then "EXTERMINATE!" rings out and your heart skips a beat, and suddenly you're haring it away from the lasers flashing just over your shoulder. Make the Sonic Screwdriver some sort of Wiimote-operated multi-purpose tool thing, add in a Doctor vs. Daleks multiplayer and they'd be set.

But was it ever going to be anything other than turd? Honestly?

Breaking News: Shock as tiny, unproven game company tries to make a fast buck on a bad licenced game.

What happened to the BBC adventure games, isn't there another one due? They weren't great but the price was right.

Not sure about that. Easy to make a game about someone who goes around shooting people, not so much a game about someone who goes round out thinking them.
