PES 2011 demo coming this month

Postby pRM8 » 03 Sep 2010, 10:47

Well from the looks of things PES is trying to claw its way back to the top and snatch the crown off FIFA.

I'll play both demo's and decide which game to buy like a do every year. Considering that every football game I have bought since '95 has been PES (or ISS back in the day) except the last 2 years where I bought FIFA, PES might have its work cut out this year. We will see.

Same with me.

I've heard so many people write PES off already but I remember people were writing FIFA off when 09 came out and look what happened there.

I've heard a lot of good things about the new PES so i'll give it a go like I do every year, although if the online multiplayer is still a mess I'm gonna stick with FIFA.

i heard a rumour somewhere that they had abandoned their attempt at 360 degree freedom for player control. does anyone know if this is true?

i expect fifa to stay on top, but you never know...

Cool, i've been waiting for a new footy fix ever since the Prem started. I hope Liverpool are in the demo, that way I can make them play decent football for a change.

I'm looking forward to the demo. I havent actually played PES (in depth as I have with fifa) since ISS.

The big turn off for me is not having real teams and leagues, always has been, Fifa 09 and 10 got me back into football games after the drought between the snes, n64 and Ps2 ISS, but If PES is the superior this season, I'll definatly consider getting it when a patch is made for the proper teams, players etc.

feeg86,

I understand the lack of official teams, stadiums and player names is a bit annoying, but you can change those. And to make life even easier, if you're on a PS3, I know there's at least one guy who makes all the changes to kits and names and allows people to download the updated files to make the change even quicker.

Anyway, I can't wait for the demo. I'm desperate to get my hands on it so I can practice before the full game is out.
