How slick is F1 2010?

Can't wait for this, but one thing, a top 10 finish in a lotus would never happen even if it was raining and any F1 fan will Know this, so hopefully they'll keep that part of the game realistic.

Hence why they said "you will be heralded a driving god by you engineer"

Agreed tho, it's gonna be tough to progress by the sounds of things. Very much looking forward to it.

You will find the answer you seek in the top right corner of the image you're referring to. :)
I cannot wait for this. I still haven't decided whether to get the 360 or the PC version though. I have a Driving Force Pro and a TrackIR for my PC, but I'm not sure if my PC can handle these graphics.
If only there were going to be a demo to help me decide...

Car handling? I know i keep harping on about it but this game sounds and looks brilliant but if it handles like Grid or Shift then it would ruin the experience for me personally. :?

- Oops, good spot.

Wonder if they factor in mid-season tech upgrades, taking the 2009 season as an example, the McLaren before and after the Nurburgring aero upgrade or for this year the Red Bulls pre/post GB with their flexible front wings.

Can't wait

Postby SageSmith6079 » 02 Sep 2010, 12:27

There's a raft of seriously good racing games coming out this autumn/winter, and not before time.

Really looking forward to this - I'm still playing Formula One CE on the PS3 so can't wait to get my mitts on the new season's version.

Sounds like they've hit the nail on the head with it too. The whole point of a racing game is the excitement of zooming round a track at ridiculous speeds. What's the point if you can't feel that speed? Some racing games miss that trick completely. Love it or loathe it NFS Shift was a lovely balance of sim and arcade. I agree, the handling was a little rough though. I want to feel the speed in this game in a similar way I did in NFS Shift. GT5p and Forza 3, for all their brilliance, failed to capture that feeling.

I hope the 'Live the Life' feature can lead to your driver topping himself should they have a really bad season. This is the only way you will catch me playing as Alonso...
