Unfortunately it might actually be dumbed down for you forza noobs with a gay rewind feature so it might actually be too much like forza, too bad. At least it will most likely not have cartoon physics.
Some cheerleader at school or hot secretary at the office may not think you are cool but let’s be real, those very same bitches don’t love bacon and still use IE to explore the web.

I should f**king hope not, this being a GT5 thread.

At least it will most likely not have cartoon physics.

Those where really bad interior designs in Forza.
Anyway, putting Forza aside. GT5 is the real driving simulator, can't bloody wait. I could ignore the delay for GT5 because there was no date given. Now its coming out in november, the wait will seem longer. Still its going to be worth it.

I can't believe it, but i'm actually looking forward to doing Nascar. That's right. I went there.

Kaz Yamauchi has actually made it look interesting. That's a small miracle in itself.

to all the trolls;
now that a release date has been confirmed, all of your worst fears have materialised. forza was rushed because gt5 might have been released. looking at all the media from E3 it shows that 5 years have been well spent. features not mentioned:
*dynamic crowds (longer race=more people)
*custom lobbies like FM2 (PWND FM3)
*spectate your friends races via any camera angle
*dynamic day/night cycles
*full/half beam lights
*horns
*reverse lights
and many, many more
roll on TGS/gamescomm
I got a warning for saying what most people have probably thought.

I predicted the Wii U controllers use.

how much is the steering wheel, as thats the only way ill play this game cos the controller is awful for fps's, never mind driving games, sloppy analogue sticks... and i saw the steering wheel a while back and it looks awesome!!

Rewind doesn't have to be used. And if you think Gran Turismo's physics are realistic comapred to Forza. You need to get some time on a track.

The designs in Forza are actually pretty accurate they just don't have a particuarly high polycount, however I do agree it'll be worth the wait, the more cars the better.

Forza was by no means rushed, not that there was any need. Polyphony and Turn 10 realise that their main consumer base is the hardcore. The hardcore for each game has either or both consoles and will by the games regardless. I'd hardly call lights and horns something to boast about.

Now i've had my little quotefest, i'll say this. Stop arguing about which game is best. I played GT when I was a kid and as i've gotten older i've played alot of Forza. For me it boils down to; GT is always the nicest looking and has the most impressive selection of cars, I go there to be a carnut. Forza has more realistic physics for a console and it allows me to get creative with modifying (NASCAR engine in a Challenger? Yes please.) and I have a good time online with my friend while enjoying the driving experience. But if i'm looking for a simulation, I don't go to either of these because frankly, they aren't. I set up my G25 and get lost of Live For Speed, GTR, GT Legends and rFactor. These are the games where I get lost in the actual driving. So for Forza and GT. While they try to cater for the same market, neither do what they actually say they do, but they're great for their own reasons.
